Watch out for when the 49ers complete their takeover though as we'll be everywhere in th US in 10 years....errr not really <laugh>

Americans are really bad about geography... Even within their own country. I bet less than 5% have even heard of the city of Leeds let alone the football club.

I gave up trying to explain where I'm from. Near Chester: never heard of it. Near the Northernmost part of the border with Wales, Near Liverpool and Manchester.

..." Oh I've heard of Liverpool, that's where the Beatles are from that's near London right?"
<laugh>. You could tell an American you're from Inverness and they would ask if it's close to London, or if you would go to London often. They only know London... And I don't think they could even find that on a map.

I remember Jimmy Kimmel used to have a skit on his late show about how **** American were at Geography.
He would stop random people in the street with a map and ask them to point to a country and some of the answers were hilarious.

I suppose that's relatively true, especially if you're talking straight distance not driving time.

Your average small southern state you can cross side to side much quicker than drive from Liverpool to London. (I can be anywhere in South Carolina in under two hours because of the low population density)... But actual physical distance wise, I have coworkers who drive to work over half that distance every day.

I actually don't know that I care too much who wins between United and Chelsea. A draw might be nice.

Wouldn't mind Chelsea scuppering third at the last minute to Arsenal or Spurs.... And United could drop out of Europe altogether.

My Liverpool fan DNA says I should be cheering on Chelsea here... But I don't really care that much. One team or both teams will be dropping points today, I'm OK with that.
