Looks like the sale of Chelsea might go through, some US investment firm bid 2.7bn.
Proceeds are likely to go into a frozen account until Roman can prove his innocence, but since he is guilty as ****, I think he can kiss that money goodbye <laugh>

City dropping points, Liverpool now only a point behind! We are only 8 points behind City if we win our game in hand....outside chance <whistle>
Seriously though, I am always torn when its Pool vs City for the title, because on one hand I like Liverpool far more than I do City, Klopp is likeable and their players seem a decent lot, but Liverpool fans are the gayest known to man, I hate Pep and I hate City, but if they win the title, we dont have to put up with any bullshit from City fans, because City dont have any <laugh> so its a chin scratcher.

On another note, am super impressed with Arsenal's turn around in form. I didnt think Arteta had it in him, especially after Aubameyang pissed off, but if they grab a top 4 spot at the expense of United, that will be an awesome achievement

This is how I weigh it up

I know too many lifelong Pool fans…do my ****in head in…can’t do with them having more gloaty reasons. I know one City fan…my eldest brother…I can handle him. Similar ratio to Not606…City fan posts once or twice a season. Pool fans seeping out of every ****ing thread and page everyday.

Agree about Arsenal…bowt time they turned up for a top 4 race in March.

Genuine question, how does that work then Bod?

Roman can't sell or agree a sale price because he is frozen, regardless of what he said when he was tipped off. I know supposed agreements were reached with the government, is all this in writing somewhere, if so where is it available to read?

Club gets sold for 2.7bn, but who is agreeing that price, the money can't go anywhere near Roman, because he's frozen in time - so where does it go and how does it earn interest. I thought this was in the hands of a Charity Foundation, but didn't see you mention that, and whatever way that charity is twisted, it's still linked to Roman, because he asked for it to be set up, after his tip off of sanctions.

City have become a plastic club, their success manufactured with bent money. Clubs who buy their way to the top means their trophies are meaningless imo.

So if City win it, it means nothing. If Liverpool win it we’ll never hear the end of it.

Agreed about Arteta. Arsenal fans could see from the off what he was trying to do and despite all the wumming from rivals, he was busy clearing out the deadwood and building a young team capable of challenging.

Gonna vault the **** out of the Arteta revolution thread if we get top 4 <laugh>

Mate ill be honest, I haven't a clue.
I assume the government is taking over the "owners" role in the negotiation.
But this US investment firm reckon they have held positive talks with government reps and that a sale is likely to go through by the end of the month.
Might not happen, who knows, dont think there is a precedent for the sale of Frozen football clubs

Not really sure City's fans (all 8 of them) care what you think of their achievements to be honest. We certainly havent. Been hearing the same spasticated excuses for 20 years.
Everything Arsenal wins means nothing, because its arsenal and you are a bunch of ***s so......:p

Fair enough mate. No I'm not aware of any precedent for this situation either, suppose whatever happens in regards Chelsea, will be the foot print for future cases. Especially as I see questions being asked about Newcastle and Man City in the near future or they certainly should be.

The government is going to have to bring the Premier League to task and set soemthing up around what is acceptable practise. I saw Gary Neville chatting loads about it last night, I don't always agree with him, but he made some fair points.

Going to be interesting for sure to see how this one plays out. I wonder if you will get a points deduction?

I suspect Chelsea fans are going to be reading about different buyers for maybe 13 years and then after 18 months more a deal might be passed

The Premier League have a lot to answer for.
Their "fit and proper" test obviously doesn't match the current goal posts they have set for ownership, yet they just let the Saudi's buy Newcastle due to a technicality, that they wont be state run, even though the consortium that owns them is run and owned by their head of state!
Yemen genocides mean nothing apparently because the Saudi's bring a lot of money to our shores, but an invasion of the Ukraine is a no-no because Russia arent our political allies. Its all bullshit.
I really am not for bringing politics into football, but if you are going to, then at least be consistent.
The PL let Chelsea, City and Newcastle be purchased by dodgy owners, then the government decide years down the road that these people arent so good after all (when every ****er knew that to be the case from day one <laugh>) and now its putting our clubs at threat, and our league even.
What happens if City and Newcastle end up getting sanctioned too? The PL as a footballing asset will plummet in value, and it'll end up like Serie A

I'd actually rather Liverpool win it than City, it would be a far more admirable acheivement.

Be a proper head **** them getting level with us on league titles though, so it's a real toss up. <yikes>

City probs have their's erased once football is cleaned up though, they'll never get near us on league wins. Or I'll be long dead when they do, hopefully.

*any skeletons in the Glazers cupboards? Please!!!
