Whilst they're at it, they can apologise for the pen that wasn't given for the Ederson foul on Odergaard in our game.

Everton receive apology over Man City handball

In all honesty though, what good does an apology do ? If Everton get relegated on the back of losing that point it will cost them millions and quite likely some of their best players will want to leave.

What they should be doing in these situations when they've admitted that they've made a mistake, is retrospectively adjusting the points.

Most of us could look at decisions throughout this season and say VAR as cost us point(s).
Something that was supposed to stop controversy, seems to be creating more.

This has been my argument from the start. It hasn't actually removed the controversies as it promised to do, it's just created more. And they are even more blatant controversies because even given the ability to slow the game down, view it 50 times from different angles, it still ****s it up.

My personal thoughts are that VAR or no VAR, you're always going to get mistakes. Best just leave it to the onfield ref and accept that they aren't always going to get it right.

I thought it was what the game needed when it came in, not any longer

We can't just leave it pgmol governing themselves.

It'll never change.

Sack all them lot, make refs full time professional, instil a league system for them so the **** ones are left to do Sunday league games down Hackney marshes while the next perliguia corllone (Bald ref) does prem games I reckon.
I think they already are full time professionals. Scarey eh?

Yep, refs always have been a law unto themselves and many of them are proper jobsworthy, over-officious types, who are attracted to the 'power'.
Or something.

Yeah, means **** all.
Should be banning the VAR ref for a number of games for incompetence
