Metthyew was a gift. A real gift. His time has come and gone but he is the trent of dickheads... The benchmark that all other dickheads are held up to.

@Diego will say he couldn't defend, but I've never seen anyone else have @Tel want to hunt them Down for beefyness.

I remember you picked up on that line 'We have to do better in the transfer market' as Levy giving Conte assurances that he'd spend and improve the squad, when clearly he meant 'I ain't spending any more dosh coz the managers before you have spunked it all on total dross'

And here Conte is today admitting that Spurs have 'weakened' their squad

'Conte does not believe he was backed with ready-made signings in January and says he now realises the club's vision is to develop players.'

He's been shafted <ok>

Was just joking about your time line mate.

As for Levy/conte, my view was that Levy has no choice but to back Conte cos he'll just walk if not and the fans will not tolerate that.

This window was never going to see big incoming cos so few clubs were willing to sell. I think there has been a change of direction as Ndombele Lo Celso, Clarke and Dele all left for nothing just to free up their wages and get them out . Unfortunately only Dele left on a permanent so the other 3 will be back.
If Levy pisses around trying to get as much as possible for dead wood before buying in the summer Conte walks and all hell will brake out imo.

I personally think Conte walks just before the season starts as I can not see Levy doing what Conte wants.
