If it's onside, it's onside. But almost every borderline decision I've seen this season has been poured over endlessly by VAR, with the lines out, looking at the minute detail and taking an age to come to a decision. My stream crashed as I was watching it, so I didn't see if VAR even bothered to check it, but if they did, there's no way they gave that the same attention as 99.9% of other goals like that.

Like you say, everybody watching that thought it was offside.

But VAR obviously thought they'd just **** that one off for ****s n giggles.
