In all seriousness though, I just wish all the clubs would just ****in get on with it. When this sort of thing has happened before teams have been made to field reserves or youth.

Spurs will be well within their rights to ask for their games in hand to be postponed if they start getting injuries due to the fixture congestion and the whole thing is a ****in mess.

we had 8 confirmed cases that rose to 11…you’ve got 1, albeit he is your best player so I get the panic

all your players are at the AFCON, sent out on loan, **** or injured…all them types of Covid strains would return negative results

Agree mate ... we had 10 academy lads in the matchday squad for the FA Cup game last weekend ... personally I think you just have to put out your best (fit) available XI and if that needs to include the younguns so be it ... a 16 year old made his debut for us last weekend ... great experience for the lad <cheers>

Agree with you here mate. We've recalled our loan players just so we can scrape together a side to fulfill our fixtures.

These prem teams are fannies. Plain and simple.

As a side to this...I do wonder if Neville and Spit the dog were talking on behalf of sky when they said the game must be played.

Sky won't be happy that their 4.30 Sunday game is cancelled.

Have a word with the PE teacher and get him into a school team. Arrange a 'friendly' pupils vs teachers game for charity, play in the team, kick him in the bollocks; These things happen, even in friendlies. You really have to think these things through when up against that type of little bastard!
