Shocking to not book the Arsenal lad for the stamp.

PNP has already posted this.

It's a pen

And at the very least if the ref is checking the monitor for the City one, then he needs to go and check the monitor for this one.

I have been in bed for ages. Just thought I would ask why the Arsenal lad wasn’t punished for that. Wonder if that was a tackle on Allison?

Gooner tears still flowing I see.

They were owed one from VAR after those ridiculous offside lines placed by a Kopite on their recent visit to us. So **** ‘em.

when you go studs up on an ankle then I guess that is a foul.

Odegaard has got every right to shield that ball from the onrushing keeper. It is the Keeper who makes contact as he's rushing out and fouls him

Interesting to see today’s first top flight game with ‘safe’ standing.

only way I would support is the system now, one seat space = one fan. Wonder what impact it will have on atmosphere today?

And that's what it's come to, who will get ****ed over by VAR each week.

It needs to go in the bin

It really doesn’t. It just needs to be used correctly, for all your crying I think it got both shouts right yesterday. It was a foul for the City pen and the tackle by the keeper was not a clear and obvious error, as you could watch that times over and still not be 100% convinced it was a foul. So VAR not overruling was correct.

Nah. The city pen was soft as ****. Xhaka shouldn't have hold of his shirt, but VAR needs to decide whether the shirt pull causes Silva to go down, it doesn't because he was already diving. The ref in real time waves it away and tells silva to get up, because he's seen him dive. As for Ederson, he takes Odergaard out as he's shielding the ball from his onrushing feet. Odergaard is in control of that ball and Ederson takes him out. That's a pen everyday.

The ref should at least be checking the monitor for both of those pens. And if he's giving the City one, then he needs to be giving the Arsenal one too
