I can remember since the mid 70s when we were relegated and always remember you in the top division.
Not since the mid 50’s mate. Only the Gooners have a longer unbroken top flight run.
Tbh I can see you lot going down...remember you coming close to it in the 90s ... think you had a last game decider one season?
We almost went down in 97 or 98...were in danger until 3 games from the end of the season when we beat Wimbledon 5-2 away and klinsmann scored 4.
Still remember being crushed as a 10 Yr old when we went down in 1977. We had been close to it the previous couple of years too.
My grandfather was a big Spurs fan. For some reason took me to see that game on a big screen at WHL.
1998. 6-2. Klinsmann 4, Ferdinand and Moussa Saib, of all people. We went 2-1 down, too.
1994 the infamous Wimbledon game, we needed to win and were 0-2 down in 20 mins, came back to win 3-2. We’ve had a few other scrapes but that was by far the closest we’ve come.
I think our 1st XI is midtable or slightly better, the issue we have is our squad is paper thin. We’ll be in the mix by Christmas but I think we should have enough, injuries permitting.
It really isn’t a good point though, you needed 3 points against the 2nd worst side in the division at home, you didn’t get them, the context of the game means **** all in terms of the table. 14 games down, 0 wins, 7 points. You need about 30 points from 24 games now.

I'll take the point with 10 men and hope for 3 vs Burnley.. Half the tables in the mix if we do that.
Then in not so afraid of the Leicester and no disrespect but Everton fixtures in December.
Not really changed very little other than keeping Palace in the mix.

You’re denying reality mate. You’ve gone 14 games without winning a single one of them. You don’t go from that to about the 1.3 points per game you’re going to need overnight, you’re running at 0.5, you need a minor miracle already. Even if you beat Burnley you’re unlikely to get more than a point from the next 4. That’d be 11 points from 19 games - exactly half a season.
