The implication was PSG's owners have so much ****ing money that they would be more likely to pay your money hungry board to **** off, because of the distraction, than to agree to a compensation pay out from you to release their manager mid-season.Your post on the other thread said PSG would pay United to stop Poch coming to us. From what's being reported, Poch seems to be desperate to take the job. Not my word btw, just going by several reasons being given for him wanting to leave for the United job.
Ironically I'm not so sure Zidane would, but that's ok too. I just hope we don't go having to try and persuade him to.

Gotta be honest I’m not sure what to make of it. Don’t think it’s the best decision for him right now, he’s more or less guaranteed the title at PSG providing he ain’t sacked and to leave that to pretty much just look at consolidating 4th with Utd this season doesn’t really make much sense to me.
Long term as well what are you lot gonna demand from him? Prem currently has four of the best five managers in the world in it in my opinion and three of them are at the current top three, the fourth is with us (the silly ****, but I ain’t complaining
). Will Poch be expected to eventually overtake the current top three or is the aim now just more about securing top four and then adjusting expectations from there?

A lot of chatter about it today. I'll keep my powder dry until it happens.
If he comes in, the outcome is to finish Top 4 this season. From supporter's point of view it'll be to create an identity to our football again. A system and shape and style that provides an organised defence and pass and move attacking football. What I'm looking forward to is how Poch is able to make players gel and play to a system, to turn individuals into a team which is greater than the sum of its parts, something he's good at. God we need that right now! Bringing in a proper coaching team to deliver that will help!!!
Beyond this season I really don't see why we can't compete for league titles and other silverware. At the start of this season we were considered to be in the mix given our squad and where we finished last season. Poch won't just have this squad to make do with either. He'll be afforded more freedom to bring in the players he wants than at any previous club.
Trebs casually forgetiing poch finished 3rd in a two horse race with spuds and 2nd in a one horse race last year with the most expensive sqaud ever known in football.
No klopp, pep or tuchel to compete with either.
