Don’t see what he has to gain by going there. More chance of furthering his rep winning a couple more leagues with Rangers and just avoiding completely embarrassing themselves in Europe before waltzing into Liverpool. At Villa he’s got an ok squad with an unrealistic fanbase because they won the European Cup a million years ago.

Who's the happier ?

I love supporting my team. We've been through some **** over the last decade or so, but I've always supported my team. I was never one of those Wenger out people either (which caused untold **** on our board <laugh>) My philosophy has always been then your team needs you even more when things aren't going well.

Too easy to lap it up when the trophies are coming in, but the real measure of a fan is how much they support their team when the chips are down.

I’m nearly in tears with this mate. It just needed a comment about a family member or maybe a photo of the family and it would have tipped me over the edge <wah>

In 1989 before the final game of the season at Anfield, my old nan turned to me and said 'My granddson, I have lived through war, but the emotions of seeing Arsenal win the league tonight will surpass even that'

As Mickey Thomas scored that last minute goal to bring the title back to Highbury, she whispered to me 'Now....my life is complete'

In fairness to Dougie, the lack of sportsmanship combined with a goal resulting directly from foul play is probably still a bit raw.

Given that we also suffered from the latter a week before, I've had more time to be rather more circumspect and to take some mitigating factors into account where you're involved Ponks;

A) You don't have a telly and the picture on your Tinphone 6 might not be top quality, as such, your views may well be based more on Arsenal TV comments (for which see B and C)

B) You're a bit of an idiot

C) You're an Arsenal fan

(B and C are obviously interchangeable)

Have a good morning mate and don't go slipping on any slugs underfoot... you cabbage brain types do seem to attract them <cheers>

Watching you lot fume when you ruin another top manager's reputation will be even funnier.

Personally didn't give a **** mate...they had about 8 chances to clear the ****ing ball anyway and Ben Foster is is a time wasting twat who has ruined several matches I've been to so **** em tbh.

Just looking forward to the gooner tears when this comes back to bite you on the arse <laugh>

Yeah it's just sour grapes from Watford. Apparently Danny Rose was telling his teammate to stay on the floor when he got to his feet <laugh>

Also Rose should have been sent off. Also Rose is an ex-Spud so **** him on all counts.

Watch me gloss over any incident where the oppo don't give us the ball back <whistle>
