You still needed VAR to save you buddy ... but at least you got to see a special goal from the ultra talented Harvey Barnes ... oh and a flukey free kick goal too ... <whistle>

Ex-Premier League referee: Arsenal goal should have been disallowed as controversial Maitland-Niles footage emerges
Arsenal should have had their goal against Watford chalked off for a foul in the build-up, according to Keith Hackett.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Fifa and Premier League referee insisted Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ “push” on Ismaila Sarr should have been punished by the officials.

**** the officials, the goal came from pure bad sportsmanship. That throw should have gone to the keeper and let the game start from there under the circumstances.

Only the gooners wont agree with that

The body check on Sarr would have a foul and a yellow in rugby let alone football

If they had won from the penalty or one of the other goals had not been offside, then fair enough no complaints but to concede like that sticks in the throat

Stop moaning Douglas.

There was another incident in that game where one of your players was down injured, but you were on the attack so chose not to put the ball out of play that time <laugh>

Rose put the ball out because you were penned in your own box, your player was getting to his feet as he kicked it into touch. He was trying to relieve the pressure by trying to 'win' a cheap turnover.

Also, Rose should have had two yellows by that point and shouldn't even have been on the pitch, so Watford's complaints are null and void I'm afraid.
