Studied English right up to degree level but only really got to a proper appreciation of the bard many years later ... my favourite passage (ooh matron) is the St Crispin's day speech delivered by Harry the King on the eve of the battle of Agincourt in Henry V ... Branagh's rendition was pretty good but Olivier was awesome ... <cheers>

Branagh is ****. He was always ****. Someone once told him he was the next Olivier and he believed his own hype. He's a terrible bard actor.

Richard III has the best monologues btw... imho
