Remember him rocking up at Highbury when we played you, just before he was appointed. The Spurs fans spotted him and were singing his name, he had to sit there and watch us beat you… again :)

Think that game was just after Rocastle had died. Have to say that the Spurs fans were brilliant that day and sung his name along with us.

respek

As a player hoddle was a genius...best player I have ever regularly seen live (never saw Platini, Maradona and only seen Messi and Ronaldo a couple of times).
As a manager he is instantly forgettable!

Rocastle was a really good footballer but also a really decent human being... deserved that send off.

Even as a spur I could enjoy watching him play <ok>

I was only a nipper when Hoddle was in his pomp and prime, but even then I remember him being a true artist of the game. A bit like Trevor Brooking before him.

Rocastle was another one, a pure natural. Easy on the eye and seemed to do everything with ease. He could also mix it up and play rough when it was needed too.

I know there's always needle between Arsenal and Spurs fans, but when we lose one of our own the other side has always shown respect for the whole football family <hug>
