Imagine Roy managing Luis Suarez <laugh>

I feel shades of this every time Ole sends Ronaldo on.
there were elements of that with Rodgers . On one occasion he decided to rest Suarez when there was still quite a long time to go . As he finally trudged off he gave Brenda a clear opinion of what he thought and it never happened again <laugh>

Once mate. The Welsh keeper casually knocked a back pass into his own net for the Czech second. Then Wales equalised to make it 2-2.

Danny Ward... our second keeper ... been excellent for Wales and also for us whenever called upon ... nice touch from the Welsh fans who chanted his name and clapped him off at the end.

Got Bromley vs Torquay on in the background and I’ve just seen one of the best goals I think I’ll see all season.

Not sure they’d have been as gracious if they hadn’t got an equaliser. I can’t say I’ve seen him before that I can recall, but on that showing he was gash, I had him at fault for the first goal as well, as he got his angles wrong and palmed the shot straight into the middle of the box.

Was in goal for all the Euro games ... made some cracking saves ... joined us from Liverpool for about £12.5 million

Despite what the tweet says, it's gone down as a Ward OG. Hit the post and went in off him.

So many players seem to do this nowadays.
I was always taught never to hit the ball directly at your own goal, exactly because of this.
Is that not a thing now in the current climate of constantly playing out from the back?
