Honestly be surprised if he plays at the top level again. Awful
Being reported as a dislocated ankle mate ... needs to go to hospital to have it put back properly (under General anaesthesia) but with the medical care available today he should make a full recovery.
Only saving grace was that I don't think it was a malicious tackle ... unlike the **** who broke Wesley Fofana's leg and also left him with ligament damage in pre-season ... that was sheer ****ery of the highest order

Brilliant news if only a dislocated ankle. Looked like a clean break on the images I saw (admittedly not clear).
Still a serious injury of course but that would be better than initially looked.
