It was a good game, 2 sides having a go to the finish. On quality chances created I think we should have edged it, the save from DCL at 1-2 was crucial. Not moaning about a point though, to go there with most of your fans getting their first real view of the PL for 18 years was always going to be a tough ask.

Agree with that and there was also a deflection near the end that looked like it was going in from where we were sat.

We did potentially have you on the ropes after the 2nd equaliser, however we were sloppy in possession and it nearly cost us the game. Benitez has you well drilled and so I can see a steady season but probably not good enough to challenge for Europe.

Think we'll be fine but difficult to see us improving on the last season's 9th with bottom half more likely.
