Thought City were pretty awful for the last hour of that game. Looked like they were going to run riot in the first 10 mins or so, but then seemed to drop to walking pace and made it easy for Spurs cover them comfortably and then look to hit them on the counter. Great result for Nuno, especially with the Kane issue hanging over the game.

They'll ****ing up their game when they play us in a couple of weeks.

Mind you, they won't even have to tbf <laugh>

Well that's City's top 4 slot gone for this season <whistle>

Must admit that I felt some satisfaction in seeing Spurs turn City over, no Kane and Son delivers the goods, as I always knew he could. I think Spurs will do better without the Kane chain and ball round their neck, and Levy will be walking away with a fat wad in his pocket in the process. I think Nuno is a good choice, even if only their third choice.

Said it on our board. Our recruitment strategy has been a shambles. After Wenger we brought in some new scouts, they soon ****ed off to be replaced by Sven Mislintat who lasted a few months before it was a 180 deg change of tact and we brought in Raul Sanlehi, who then got the shove after some supposed dodgy dealings and now we’ve got Edu pulling the strings.

In that time, we’ve lost players for either nothing or a pittance because we’ve let their contracts run down. We’ve replaced quality players with average mediocre talent and unsurprisingly, we are an average mediocre team as a result.

The only players worth their salt against Brentford were Tierney, Saka and Smith Rowe. The rest were just total gash.

I liked Ben White's performance <whistle>

Was good to be back, man. Especially with a result and performance like that. An added bonus too knowing it's added another £15m or so on top of Kane's price tag for City.

Be a great view if it wasn’t for all those flags.
What was the price hike from WHL to new place for the season?

I pay £1050 now, been a few years since WHL prices and I’ve got a gash memory but think they were just under £900 IIRC.

Don't get too excited mate ... Citeh had 18 goal attempts to your 13 ... you are therefore doomed as @Roy Munson will no doubt confirm ... and further, you are behind us on alphabetical difference so you are well and truly ****ed, again @Roy Munson to confirm <laugh>

Pep should have forgot about Harry Kane and signed Messi instead.
He was free, scores buckets of goals, and Pep has never won the CL without Messi in his side, that might have been what tipped the scale.
Instead he is gonna be playing bidding games with Levy all transfer window and might end up with **** all.

Today could have ended Kane's chance of a move to City.
If Pep paid any attention to the difference in speed and fluidity of Spurs attacks today compared to with Kane he would realise how poor a fit he would be for City.
