The difference with Sven is that we ultimately failed every time and didn't beat a top side in a ko match once. We also never had a draw open up like this under him.

In general that team had far more talent but miles less heart than the current bunch imo.


Did showcaves today btw, really good trip out that. Nipped loved it and already asking to go next year as they've got a new dino trail opening in August.

This team doesn't have the ego they are a lot more grounded .
Like you say the other was more talented.

Nah, He'll be a solid enough manager, might get them top 4 and he'll make it hard for the big boys and make sure the team works hard.

His footie is pretty slow and methodical and he doesn't really go all out. The spurs fans who want to see attacking footie will get annoyed with it. He'll be gone in a few years

He would have been my preference over Rafa. But sets up defensive/counter attacking. However he is up to date with the PL and isnt just coming back from a flop in China.
