True, i thought the sub (not the late ones for pens) was weird too, you don't change Greenwood for Fred when you need a goal. If you are pulling Greenwood in that situation you bring on James or Diallo.
Greenwood was doing (did) ok, Rashford and Pogba were really poor. The changes should have been earlier and involved different players, that way we might not have lost after 22 penalties.
Yeh I agree completely. Really didn't get why you're worrying about pens with 30 mins of extra time to go.
Did you notice how the game totally shifted in extra time as we looked knackered. They finished that 30 mins full of confidence. After a 2nd half when we were looking like scoring.
Rashford should've gone off for James. And I would've brought on Matic not Fred. Matic is a better passer and has experience in the big games.
Thought Fred and Moreno took the best two pens of the night. Dunno how they played though. I take it it's not worth watching on catch up?

My problem with our sub was that we took off a talented goal scorer (who was playing well) and brought on a DM so that we could move Pogba (who was playing ****) out to wide left and Rashford (who was poor) out wide right where he is ****.
Made absolutely no sense at all.
Also worth saying we didn't actually make any subs until extra-time
