It's not that. It's just respect. People are on our board to talk about football mostly but all manner of other stuff as well. Look at some of the boards on here with very few posters and some of it is caused by people being pissed off by gettting verbally attacked. We have a core of very good posters who all buy in to the ethic we have on Spurs so it works.

I swear @Tobes said he was getting verbally attacked earlier for just having his say ?

I think your point about different boards having different levels of tolerance is a valid one, only on your board that tolerance (or rather lack of it) is a one way street. Go and have a read of the posts I’ve made on the rivals thread tonight and the responses I’ve received from one particular poster, ignore the actual debate and focus on the ad hominem. I’d respectfully suggest that had that been one of this boards regulars making those posts, they’d have been deleted and possibly more.

I’m not going to fall out with you over it, but I think it’s a tad rich when your self imposed boundaries aren’t universal and this is supposed to be a multi club site (as per the original BBC site) and not some one club echo chamber.
THis is a wordy thread give me a heads up on your complaint please

I eat my bogies if I'm hungry sometimes.. if that counts

Been a documentary on Al Jazeera for half hour tonight. 'The Fans Who Make Football.'

All about Liverpool, the docklands, Bill Shankly, Hillsborough, the effects of Thatcher.

Guy on there said in the dockland days, such was the comradeship, one week the dockers would go watch Liverpool play, the next week Everton.

Tougher times back then and people were kinder for it.
