We had a parade in '71 when Arsenal beat us in the final. We didn't have one for even winning the league till 73, as I remember. Think that was for winning the first European trophy, and 76 and 77 too. Cant remember us ever having a parade for solely winning the league. We didn't in 1990, iirc. We did in 92 when we won the FA cup though.

Last one for us I think was the 20th league and tied in with Fergie's departure. I don't think we've done any for cup wins since.

Say what you will about that, but dont deny that Virgil, just like Rio for you all those years ago, can pass like Hoddle but from a CB position. That's to be applauded, not decried as hoofball.

I've not seen enough of Virgil in that sense, but Rio was very good at taking the ball out to the half way line. Far from being hoof ball. More than what some of our midfielders can manage these days tbf.

This young Kabak lad for us - well hes improved - albeit from a low base - and maybe, for now, he can be our fourth choice like Klavan was, and see how he develops. But offs, the expectations - hes 20/21. The only cbs I ever saw fully formed at that age who were comfortable on the ball, played with their heads up and could 60 yard pass like the best midfielders were Hansen and Rio. The bar for cbs is ridiculously high now. We should have got Kabak at the beginning of the season and played him in.

**** knows why we got this Ben Davies dude. <laugh>

That the one robbo smashed on the floor then laughed in his face?

The one watkins butt-****ed on live telly. I pray, probably forlornly, that rumours of us after watkins are true. I'd swap him for Bobby or Mane in a heartbeat.

That was quick <laugh>

I can’t believe he keeps getting jobs. Does nobody look at his failures.....

Leagues, cups, CL’s all count for nothing when you have a big name like his.

You'd think City would be able to afford to sweep all of the snow off their pitch, really.

Why are they telling the ref to go to the monitor? It's just not a handball. Tell him he got it wrong.
