Sheffield United are going to get someone sent off soon, if they don't change things up.
Tella's murdering them with his pace.

haha good pic.

To be fair to the gooners it was time for whinger to go. The moaning before hand was outrageous for such a legendary manager (but even fergie got some during United 3 year barren run the *****s) but arsenals drift down the table began with arsene. He might have been a brilliant manager and put arsenal on the roadmap as well as changing english footie, but he was getting long in the tooth, similar to Mourinho
Yeah I think it was time for him to go, but in fairness he brought in both Lacazette and Aubameyang before he left, without whom they’d have been total gash since.

Most Arsenal fans just took it all for granted imo and assumed they had some God given right to be up challenging every year, but it was Wenger who created that level of consistency.

Arteta is little more than Pep’s cone layer, and he’s showing already that he’s way out of his depth imo. It’s far too big a job for a bloke with zero experience. Another **** up from the Gooners board, following on from the disaster that was Good Ebening.

Yeah I'd be laughing if it was you ****s.

Just wait until VAR ****s you over again, I'm gonna go all PNP on your ass and start defending it. <laugh>
It ****s us up all the time, but it's not the VAR itself, it's the same ****ing **** refs using it.
People are going to moan about the officials, regardless of whether VAR is used. It's because they're useless.
We need better refs and that's absolutely not being addressed.

Agree about the Wenger stuff.

Still think it's too early to judge Arteta though. He needs a couple of seasons to sort this squad out.

Yeah there chairman/board have a lot to answer for with **** up after **** up.

Not sure about whether we can class lacazette as that successful (he's been okay, but not 50 million okay which was high at the time). Aubas obviously been phenomenal but the rest of the team he left behind is gash, you wouldn't class say in fairness Marco Silva was directly responsible for Richarlison and digne so did alright.

Anyway, all good for you boys, arsenal turning into a mid table club has given a greater opportunity for you boys and carlo to jump into the upper echelons of the league

Has to be the best half of Southampton's season, doesn't it? 1-0 up and Pompey 4-0 down?
Surely they can't **** this up... <whistle>

They are pretty crap but to be fair with the tribal nature of football, theres always someone that's going to be upset with referees. I havent watched much european footie recently but i often watch european footie and think these guys are **** as well. VAR is a **** show though by the refs but i do notice there are times you watch on tv and you think the opposition are fouling or diving and they show a replay and you have to begrudgingly accept that you called it wrong.

As for improving referees, no one wants to be a ref with all the abuse they take at grassroots and it's not like they just appear on trees, it'll take a generation to train them up like a youth team (if you were to put in another initiative). Hopefully the likes of Sian Massey who is probably the best linesman/lineswomen can step up from the lower leagues but i don't see it happening for a while

Yeah, i missed ragging the reds when we beat them midweek, might as well unload on the gunners <laugh>

Ozils fat contract - another massive mistake by wenger. If you hadn't given him fat wad of cash to **** off you guys would still be paying him 3 years on since wenger left.

I just think we need to accept that referees are going to make mistakes. VAR isn't going to address those mistakes because it's just another human referee with their interpretation laid on top of the on field referee's view of things. There are times where VAR gets things right, like today when it overruled the pen and Burnley sending off, but there are too many times where, even given multiple angles and huge amount of time to study an incident, it still gets it wrong.

Perhaps even more than this though, is the way that it kills the spirit of the game, checking every goal and then chalking it off for some minor accidental infringement several passages of play before the goal. That for me is not worth the few times it addresses an injustice and turns it around.

I would rather just let the game flow and accept that referee's are doing the best they can and will occasionally make mistakes.

The highlight of the game midweek was one of your lot casually smashing the ball into Manes grid from point blank range after he’d been fouled, pure ****housery.
