Got held up at knifepoint in New Cross once by some little hood rats. Back in the days before phones and expensive gadgets, so I just handed over some loose change and a box of ***s. Part of me wanted to crush the little ****'s skull under the wheels of a bus who was holding the blade. But it's not worth it, too many little ****s thinking they are the mandem who'll happily stick a blade in ya for the rep.

The concrete walls of the River Quaggy leading into Deptford creek <ok>

We've got this stuff down here, millions of years of rock and shells being ground together by the sea, turns it into this fine yellow powder, amazing for building little castles out of. Not so great if you get any in your cucumber sarnies though.

On the upside it shows that the case is about the return of the Saudis.

On the downside it smacks of complete desperation, that you’re crying foul before a ball has been kicked, and that your entire case seems to be about denying that the state owned Saudi investment fund, chaired by the head of state, is somehow not controlled by the state.

It also puts to bed the conspiracy theories imo, as it’s clear that the PL’s refusal to countenance the Saudis effectively buying in to their organisation, is based on the fact that they enabled piracy of the PL’s product, and whether they back track on it or otherwise is irrelevant, as they patently did it.
