Early goal and they could fold ... but the new C/F puts himself about (big lad) and their centre backs will be dangerous from set pieces ... and Sam has recruited Snodgrass to deliver the ammo ... but there is a real gulf in class, player for player ... just don't give silly free kicks away around your box and you'll be good <cheers>
 
This is perfectly set up for Ole to go ultra cautious against a very dangerous Baggies side with Matic lumbering about in front of the centre halves to 'protect' them as we play for a one nil win.

And fail.

Got dismal draw written all over it.

You were top at the end of that game ... ... your players were putting ****ing selfies all over the net from the dressing room after the game <laugh> and gooners were definitely talking about the title.

That season killed Wenger. He came second when we fell apart but coming above us allowed him and the board to pretend all was good.
Iirc 2016 was the last time you qualified for the CL and the last time you finished above us.

Being honest is vital if you are going to improve and Arsenal weren't honest that season. They pretended they were never in the title race to hide their failure...we did similar in 2019when we allowed the CL final to paper over some very big cracks.
It's no wonder we are in 9th and 11th places in the league now tbh.

We're just as unpredictable to be fair, but it's pretty much become a must win game for us. If we can get 3 pts today it puts us 2pts behind the Spuds and back in with that pack chasing 4th.
