As I recall Leicester spent massively and I think illegally (?) they defo had a FFP challenge hanging over them when they were in the championship.
Don’t get me wrong I think what Leicester have done is phenomenal
But if you keep treading this line of we are little Leicester - I don’t think it sticks.
Comparatively when you were in the Championship you were doing what you say others were doing and you broke the rules (admittedly they are **** rules)
Many fans of lower league clubs view you guys as a bit of a twat club - just they way it is.
Ftr I can see what you are saying - you are extremely well run but your owners are not above the **** they just have not done it in this league yet

I believe that was a hangover from the Sven era. The owners had just come in and made the mistakes many have, letting him have the cheque book! Ever since Pearson era 2 we have not been in that position. Pearson cut the bills massively and the squad we went up with was much cheaper assembled so the opinion out there that we spent massively on the promotion itself was wrong. The main thing was they learned from it and have followed a sustainable route since then.

Yeah that’s fair enough but the club still did it - that’s all I was pointing out
Totally take on board what you are saying and as I said I think Leicester are ran tremendously well
But they still cheated to get into the position where they could win the league
(Sorry - low blow lol)
