Arsenal should break their back to get Nuno Esperito Santo from Wolves (I know he’s got the better side now but prestige still counts for something) and **** the greasy loser Arteta off ASAP.

They’d never attract somebody like Allegri, so forget about the top managers like him.

Arteta is going nowhere, no matter how much time he gets, because he looks pathetic, he looks weak, and he’s deluded... just like Ole.

They do. There's nobody in our team, apart from Partey who's injured, and Gabriel who's suspended, that would have given them any problems.

We need a wholesale clear out in the summer. And that includes Willian who's been utter ****. I'd rather see us accept that we're going to be midtable for a couple of seasons and let Arteta develop some youth and mould them into the team he wants. Rather than trying to get this current dross to perform each week.

Arsenal look to be where we were about 2/3 years ago. Struggling to get the club going in the right direction.

we had big Sam/Silva mistake after an expensive mistake with Koeman. At least Arteta has some pride/passion and a vision unlike the ****e we had before Carlo.

I would t bin Arteta, but expect a rough 18 months while he changes and gets these kids who show promise up to speed and nixed with some older players who want to play with flair, but also grind out when it’s tough.

I think he’d be a great choice tbh. He’s done wonders for that club.

Yeah it’s quite reminiscent of the Silva era for us tbh, started quite well and then he looked like a rabbit in the headlights when we hit a bad patch of form, and just kept doing the same thing every week hoping to get a different result.

Arteta needs some wins, he needs to ditch the ‘philosophy’ for a while and just try and grind out some results, but I’m not sure he’s capable of being that pragmatic. He’ll get **** canned shortly imo, unless there’s some form of miracle this week and they can do City and Chelsea......no, me neither.

That tweet is pretty damning. He's basically said "The team is playing just as I want them to, but it's not winning games and I have no idea how to fix it."

Think Mikel will get kebab’d after Brighton beat Arsenal. Their following game against WBA could be a good game for a new manager to come in and start on the right foot.

Wenger in temp til end of the season?

the clubs agent links had helped him with players.

Arsenal need to back Arteta with trust/cash to clear the dross and get the right squad balance.

Think I know the difference between the Arsenal and Everton sides after 12 months.

we have a CB playing at LB, he bangs a shift in and doesn’t hide.

must have been like getting tackled by a fruit machine for that Arsenal lad.

Sent off for that. That's it, the game has gone full snowflake.

I think the problem the game has now, the players know how easy it is to get someone sent off, regardless of what the actual intent was of the opposing player. It looked a bit of an iffy challenge in slow mo, but I've no way of measuring the intent v genuinly going for a 50/50. So suppose it depends on what level of acceptance you want to define a hard but acceptable versus a reckless and unacceptable takle by.

The main problem is that the game has become a non contact sport, similar to basketball. Players scream the place down at the slightest touch. Embarrassing, when people say it's a fannies game, and I find it hard to disagree.
