I would feel more confident with Rodriguez starting as he wouldn't be helping out with the defence which is where we struggle the most, against hard working sides (if the team isn't technically better than us) but without rodriguez it's going to be much harder breaking you down

totally incorrect tactics from lampard. Too much fannying it around down the middle. you need to go wide against the 3-5-2 and whilst james was going down the right, chilwell down the left wasn't really there at all. Havertz had decent opportunities and was wasteful. Werner was pretty poor today but was far better when we stuck him down the right to have a go at the defender. He's useless out on the left.

yeah, he's been really bad since hes come back from covid. Not just his touch but he was really greedy with his decision making today.

He did say that the pace of the PL is crazy tbf. I'm sure he'll come good but yeah, he has to step it up.
 
Tactics and workrate, absolutely spot on.

Not the silky football we played at the start of the season, but effective and a clean sheet against a side who were flying. Completely unexpected and a much needed boost. The fans defo made a difference imo.
