That's just means it was rain and now its snow that you have seen

Snow flakes form in the cloud and when it falls the temp is low enough to for it to remain a snowflakes, however rain only becomes rain when rain drops fall from a cloud... Even if this raindrop freezes on the way down its known as a pellet and not a snowflake, so rain doesn't ever turn into snow..


Wasnt after a meteorology lesson, just saying what happened. Raining, then it snowed.
Maybe, just maybe that at altitude could was dropping snow, it hit a warm patch on the way down and fell as rain, this warmer front moved in and it ‘turns’ to snow.....or don't thaw big dawg
