Robertson takes a big swing, completely misses the ball and hits Welbeck. Why isn't that a foul?
It's like they're talking about something else entirely.

Nah, that’s a straw man, you can’t argue with that call imo. He’s gone to clear the ball, missed it completely and caught Welbecks foot, it’s a clear foul. I don’t get the crying about it one iota. You see one similar virtually every game, usually as a striker goes to block a clearance from a defender and gets caught on the follow through. Foul given.

that's because no one gets banned for diving on contact, despite it being obvious they dived.

The way I see clear and obvious is by asking if it's one of those where there'd be days of talk about it afterwards in pre-var times. Didn't think it was one of those personally.

The way I see it is if that was Luke Shaw kicking Welbz and it wasn’t given, the world is raging cos it’s another big decision gone United’s way.

<laugh> I switched over from watching the racing, saw Mane’s goal, and thought “that’s all over then”.

Thought there must be something wrong with the BBC website when I checked the final score just now. I have absolutely no idea what happened in between, but I have to say it’s all fine with me
