Yeah looking forward to Werner. Even though it’s for the Chavs. He’s a quality player and it’s good for the premier league to have players of his calibre in it. They’ve strengthened well in the summer, and on paper they should be up there challenging. We’ll see what they look like tonight <ok>

On paper their back line is as piss poor as it was last season, so they’ve got work to do yet. Silva is capable of being world class on his day but he ain’t graftin for 55+ games in 8 months.

There was **** all pressure on Lampard last season due to the transfer ban, them selling Hazard and him being a young manager, as well as a club legend.

This season is now very different, they’ve spent big, brought in some genuine quality and the expectation levels will be far greater. It’ll be interesting to see how he copes with that pressure as the season unfolds.

Yeah mental amount of games compressed into this season. I know they’ve signed Werner and Ziyech, but I still think they’ll miss Willian, who is our gain. Chilwell and Silva should make them stronger at the back, but it remains to be seen how their new players will gel. Might take a while for them to bed in.

He did alright last season given the circumstances. But like you say the pressure was off. Now all eyes are on him to deliver and he’s still pretty green in management

I reckon he’s got genuine potential for meltdown tbh.

He’s always been a moody ****er imo, as I can seeing him snapping if the pressure really mounts at any point.

He lost his **** with Klopp towards the end of last season. Bloke has got low melting point and has all the markings for someone who could blow his top at any moment. Could be entertaining if Chelsea struggle or there’s some **** VAR decisions that go against them.

He could go full Keegan.

I’d love it.......

Yeah me too, I think Werner will smash this league tbh. The lad is top drawer imo. Their other signings aren’t too shabby either like. It’ll be interesting to see if Thiago Silva can cope with the pace and power of this league, even at 35 I’m expecting him to boss it tbh. Always been top quality imo - cue him doing an impression of Sideshow Bob and gifting Brighton a goal tonight lol.
I don't like the look of the team Frank has put out, strange bunch can't see how it all fits.

he did a Klopp. People love it when he says what he feels. Lampard does it and it’s not so popular?

Lampard went a bit far, but also why not tell Klopp to **** off, he is a bloke who was mugged off by a ball boy at Goodison. The fume that night

Lampard is only just breaking out as a manager.

No idea what relevance that has to his post, but if we’re playing manager top trumps, then that’s sound.

I was looking at his record when you were playing Spurs, that's some impressive record that Ancelotti has got.

Ancelotti is the best thing to happen to Everton and gets the respect he deserves

Lampard is a nobody thinking he just needs to act like Mourinho
