Never seen what anyone sees in Rice to rate him so highly. Decent player sure, but no more than that.
I thought he had a really good season when he first moved into CM - as I’m pretty sure he was originally a CB, no?
But last season he just didn’t progress, and he was largely poor when I watched them.

Trippier at LB, is a joke, really had high hopes for Southgate the way he started, by bringing in inform young talent but he seems to have lost the plot.
Think he's handled the transition to younger players well but definitely a strange squad selection this time round.
This back 3 experiment really hasn't worked either, and was likely not going to with those players.
