Establishing a history of lies and fraudulent accounting that continued until the day Man City adopted a policy of refusing to cooperate?

Your team almost went into administration under your old owners, didn’t Sheikh Mansour offer to buy the club and get told to ****off? You’d have probably had 4 or 5 Premier League titles by now, instead you’ve got just one.

Bitter as ****.

They were literally taken over by the bank. They were effectively in administration.

Their current Sherman’s bought if off the bank for a knock down price and have invested **** all. They then binned off the new stadium and set about rebuilding Greyskull on the cheap. The only good thing they’ve done is appoint Klopp, the luckiest owners in football.

Staggering that after all the talk that's been bouncing around Merseyside for over 15 ****ing years we are going to see Everton get a new stadium before Liverpool.

I suspect Tranmere Rovers will get a new ground before Liverpool at this rate.

The administration thing is around the time Gerrard was about to go to Chelsea?

Can't believe he didn't go for it. Wasted his career there like.

Good point about the lower leagues. I'll hold my hands up and say I honestly don't know how packed they are and whether the capacity is there to keep numbers the same and distance. But making it work will be a nightmare. I really hope they think about these clubs when they come up with a decent plan and don't kust think about what works for the Pl.
The good news is that all clubs will have access to the groundbreaking, advance research on social distancing at football matches, carried out over a 4-year period by Sunderland Football Club.

I think the chanting/singing will be proven to have an effect tbh.
They should devise chants that won't involve a lot of droplet dispersion - means our takeover has to go ahead - Ashley Out said with hate carries droplets at least 5metres.

Yeh I can see that as well. Wouldnt keeping a 2m distance cover that though? And/or put in place wearing face masks. I know it sounds OTT to watch a game but I can see clubs going for that.
Will be interesting to see how clubs handle this. I would suspect that they will look at accommodating season ticket holders first of all. With these occupying 50-75% of ground capacities, but with presumably a significant number of those being two or more seats from the same family then most clubs could probably seat them all. Ban away supporters, which would also probably be a sensible precaution anyway, to avoid further virus spread and it may not be an issue.

Of course all the Man Utd and Liverpool home season ticket holders travelling up from London would be an issue - maybe limit season ticket holders to those who live within 50-80miles of the club.

Do many have season tickets? Or how about opening up the corporate boxes to season ticket holders? That should be good.

The lack of japanese and chinese day trippers should help as well.

Man Utd has 52000 season ticket holders so 68% of capacity. Liverpool has 27000 so 50% (although I am sure @astro will correct me). Newcastle have 40000 so 77% although that include 10000 that the club gave away to family members of supporters holding a paying season ticket at Christmas this year. Think each could easily accommodate season ticket holders, assuming families don't need to social distance.

Lol Astro won't care about that. He thinks all match going fans are selfish bastards and should burn in hell <laugh>

How can you say Fan A is more loyal than Fan B if Fan B has never been given the opportunity to buy a season ticket and Fan A got handed one by a friend or family member?

... I'd judge it on the length of time a fan has had his ticket / then has been on a waiting list ... might take a computer a minute or two to sort that data <cheers>

Ain't about loylty tbh. It is about patience and money and life style.
I have been a spurs member for 16 yrs and my girls have for 14 years. We were offered season tickets 2 years ago but I can't afford three of them and neither of my girls can go to every game so even if I could have afforded them it would have been pointless as I can still get tickets to go with them when we can all go.
Fans who cough up a small fortune and prioritise going do not deserve to have that commitment ignored by losing their tickets at the end of the season.

Loyalty is about not being a plastic twatty fan.
I read on here the other day about a plassie pool fan who didn't rate Klopp when he first went to Liverpool...that moron ain't loyal...and I hope no season ticket holder loses out to that chump <whistle>

So it looks like a choice between Brentford or Fulham for the last PL spot.

At least the Taffs didn’t get back up <ok>

He cries about match goers being privileged and yet he’s literally never been.

Now that’s special.
