Wigan Athletic has entered administration.

It seems their demise is as dodgy as ****, read the thread in this tweet mate, an absolute shocker if true.

Snap Tobes.

An absolute shambles. How the **** can the EFL enforce a deduction after all this?

I’m surprised at Dave Whelan tbh. He put so much into that club and obviously loved it, so why didn’t he do his due diligence before agreeing the original sale ffs? Same goes for the FA.

As usual it’s the fans who’ll suffer, but this one has far wider implications.

****ing hell.

They sold the club to a dodgy poker player.

It's not funny, but <laugh>

Possibly desperate to sell and was the only interested buyer? Be interesting to see if he steps back in as I can't say many others being overly interested.

The EFL are a complete embarrassment for allowing it to go through and then enforcing the 12 point deduction weeks later.

Cracking game in the playoffs. Fleetwood down to nine men 4-1 down. Mannequins behind the goal dressed as hooligans and someone has chucked a flare on the pitch from outside the ground.

<laugh>

I fancy Wycombe to win these playoffs, would be very football after they weren't even in them when the season was halted.

What a bloody mess. Although not completely a surprise, I watched a documentary many years back, about Asian betting markets, moving in on English Football Clubs. It was of a level never experienced or seen before.

There was another football club, who shall remain unnamed, not my club, that had huge investments in it, I later found out the source that was funding it, didn't actually have the funds, but were being sourced by other means.

All of this is happening under the Football League's noses, but some how there's not a bright enough spark in the box, to see it happening, but is that any wonder when a bidding process see's in favour of QATAR, by the corrupt World governing body of FIFA https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-32897066

Most of these bodies have failed to even tackle racism within their ranks, let alone corruption, they say there is no room for racism, but can't even sort equality in their own ranks.

The whole ****tehouse is rotten to the core, but as always it will be the fans that suffer.

Steps off soapbox.

"EFL chairman Rick Parry has been secretly recorded by a Wigan fan discussing rumours related to the club's administration.

In the recording, Parry discusses an alleged bet on the club's relegation from the Championship"

Stinks like 2 week old kippers

Cant get old Kipper off your mind can ya bro?

Just watching football focus and someone is having a go about the Spurs/Harry Kane disallowed goal against Sheffield. Micah Richards I think it is says var got it wrong and the goal should have stood. To me as the Spurs player goes down, possibly fouled, it looks like he deliberately throws his arm at the ball and punched it so it ricocheted to Kane who scored. I can see why it was chalked off but maybe they should have had a free kick...

You think Son was able to work out the angles involved to get the ball to bounce off his arm to the United player so it came back to hit his back and go to Kane, who will be able evade the attention of the Sheffield defenders and score a goal! I think that even Pythagoras would have been hard pressed to do that in a split second

Ole putting out the same side that slapped Brighton.

Bournemouth will be well up for this.

Looking like it could go either way. Tough game for United.
