Agreed. And it will be a big loss if he goes.

I still think our defence is the bigger issue though. We literally create our own problems at the back time and time again.

Nah it's not that bad. We are ****ing gash atm, but Arteta has only been in the job since December. Then we had Covid, so he's barely even got going yet. Need to the board to back him in the summer with some cash, but not sure it will be forthcoming. We've got Saliba coming in at CB, so hopefully that will strengthen us at the back.

This summer is probs needs more of a clear out than anything else. But realistically we are a second tier club right now and qualifying for Europe should be our main focus. Top 4 isn't even a realistic target atm.

You never was a top club though were you, until Wenger come along?

I know Arsenal won the double once in the year of wide collars and flare trousers, but other than that, I can't think of anything special they've done.

We won the league 10 times before Wenger came along mate.
 
We kick off the footie fuxtures today at Watford (12:30) ... games so far have been a bit surreal and who knows which team will cope best with the muted atmosphere ... but 3 points today would be very welcome ... may have jinxed it, but it's there for the taking ... be bold, be brave ... and Vardy to notch his 100th Prem goal? ... not bad for a £1million purchase eh? <cheers>
