Badly missing it.
I subscribe to a streaming sports channel here for the live Premier League games and it still has all the games from the season to date, which I can watch in full. I have realised that the only joy in watching Newcastle play live this season was that we might just sneak a win, after defending for 89minutes. Watching them play when you know the result makes you realise how depressingly poor we have been.
Yesterday I watched the last hour of the Stokes test match. A few of us were Whatsapping like it was live. Sad.
tbh it’s been a welcome break from all the mass hysteria surrounding sport and sports people.
another 3 months or so and I’ll be fresh ready for more sport...maybe
I watched some world cup classics programme yesterday. France v Brazil in the 1986 World Cup was some game.i watched that Motd classics thing yesterday - tbh found it a bit worrying how much i enjoyed it
that was the one
also enjoyed watching the Dutch stick 6 past the tika taka Spain who while technically brilliant bored me to tears .
I'm going to miss the Cycling grand tours which since they are France , Spain and Italy I cannot see anyway of them taking place this year .
so long as we get to around September without sport
should be fine in time for the new season to KO
Not sure i can make it all the way to september as sport is my main entertainment these days . Personally don't give much for the chances of any major sporting events being held with crowds until either a successful treatment is found or a successful vaccine is rolled out and the latter will no way happen this calendar year .
I'm full of good cheer today .
no but they I dont hate them more than cyclists... there is nothing worse imo.
