the decision will be made before next season though .CAS don't mess around you just send your evidence in they look at it then have normally a one day hearing where lawyers can belt out their spiel then a bit later they announce their decision.

I've not read much about this since the day it happened. Wouldn't it be better for City to appeal to UEFA first - firstly to drag it out and secondly because UEFA always cave in on every sanction they impose. Then if that doesn't work, go to CAS.
They already tried to take it to cas as it was still being investigated by uefa and were told that they'd have to wait til uefa ruled.
Not sure that that says about anything but why would you appeal an investigation that hasn't even finished yet.
well they have already gone to CAS once who told them to get lost as they won't hear cases until the full judicial process of the sports body has been completed . It is now going to go to CAS as the EUFA process has completed .

There's no chance CAS will turn the whole premise of FFP on its head surely?
Also there's been nothing said by UEFA about 5th getting CL is there. That's just an assumption atm.

Yeh don't get me wrong, but the appeal process with UEFA would've carried them through to next season by which time they couldn't be booted out of the CL for that season.
FFP will not be overturned as it is not an unusual sporting rule .

If the CL spot doesn't go to 5th then they will have to give it to another country and we will have to "win" it back.
If it does go to 5th then the EL places will have to be moved down too.
