No one will read, but could be true.

the race for the prem will cost a club or 2

Very disturbing report
Its why clubs in the Prem are terrified of going down
A couple of Prem clubs could go under if the cost of wages and buying players does not stabilise soon, but the so called top six clubs are only interested in Champions League and could not care less if the rest of the Prem went bust, at least then they could have their private little elite division where they would die a long/short death of football boredom playing each other several times a year
The money from Sky etc must be distributed more evenly amongst all the leagues

Yes if it meant the premier would go back to 24 teams and the same in the rest of the leagues, like it used to be
And they would have to start back in the non league if they wanted to return to English football

Not sure how it’s the top six clubs fault for others overspending.

Just seems like poor management to me. Don’t spend more than you can afford, simple concept yet many owners don’t seem to like following it.

It's the race for the big bucks off the prem though.

If there was a breakaway super league and lets say 4 English clubs, who would/should they be?

That still doesn’t mean clubs should overspend to achieve that. Play the long game, invest wisely both in personnel and infrastructure and work towards making the Prem. Problem with too many owners/ clubs is that they want instant success - and success can be determined in a number of ways, getting promotion/ surviving relegation/ top half/ top six/ top four/ trophies etc. Whatever the aim is, there should be a smart, thought out plan to achieve it, not just “Chuck a load of money and hope for the best”.

I’d imagine City, Pool, Utd and then one of Chelsea or Arsenal. Arsenal are bigger than Chelsea but Chelsea are currently better and have a brighter future I’d say.

Used to be 22 teams mate...used to play 42 matches a season.

Well we did that by the skin of our teeth, but we're through as group winners <ok>
