They're making a film out of that.
Not surprised. It’s incredibly American all action hero. Almost like it was written to be made into a film. Not the kind of thing I’d normally read but it was an easy reading holiday book and I’ve started so I’ll finish. 800+ fecking pages though.

Yeah, and they've gone for Gazza on the left of that three which kind of invalidates the idea of playing them in specific positions.

yes. I think they've just gone for players not positions cos its easier to just pick players and not a team.

and Beardsley was brilliant with Lineker

Beardsley is the best player weve ever had better than shearer and we bought him back late in his career he was good at Liverpool and everton and never let England down either

We signed him from Vancouver Whitecaps. I was a kid with an ST, was looking forward to see him play,

He barely got a game.

Considering how he turned out, it's weird saying all that!

I would imagine by then he was very old because his legs had gone when we sold him to Bradford , but that was well into his 30's

sad the racism thing if true , but regardless he was a top player and anyone that watched him play over his career knows that … I can think of several players nowhere near as good that always had smoke blown up their arses.

Dude, this is right at the very start of his career.

1984 I think? Thereabouts.
