Behave. He dived, the contact was after Mina fell over and was minimal and accidental, and certainly not enough to bring him down, hence the dive.
He's been saying all season that var has eradicated diving.

He has one ****ing big boner about Son![]()
Imho you can't blame players for diving or engineering contact.
It's would be easily taken out of the game if retrospective action and bans are handed out for clear simulation.
But no.
Staying on your feet gets you absolutely nothing. Taking a dive does sometimes, can't blame the players for that imo.

Was proved when we played city a few years back. Stirling was one on one with the keeper, Walker pushed him from behind, he lost his balance but stayed on his feet and got a shot off which missed and instead of blowing for the penalty the ref gave us a goal kick.
Funny as **** cos it was city but utter bollocks as a decision...why would you stay on your feet after a foul?
The problem is that refs are so inconsistent on what is a foul.
They give fouls in midfield that they'd never give a penalty for.
And when you look at what united are getting penalties for (the ones I have seen seem like penslties to me so I ain't complaining) then you see ones that ain't given it just looks stupid.
Most of United's have been penalties to be fair but the one on James against Norwich was arguably the worst decision I've ever seen.
Cahills opinion is irrelevant, Mina fell, he barely touched Son, he didn’t impede him, it’s a contact sport and what little contact there was, was purely accidental.Fouls do not have to be deliberate...nor do they have to be committed before the person doing the foul had fallen.
Son was impeded so was fouled.
That decision was probsbly the reason why you didn't get either of your penslty shouts given.
Imho the ref denied you a dead cert pen and possibly a second and denied us one and should not have sent son off.
The result would have probsbly been a draw if he had given the correct decisions so its no biggy.
Son did dive (after been impeded... therefore fouled) by exaggerating the fall. But tbh look at the state of Richarlison who spent an inordinate amount of time flinging himself around which cost him any chance of a penalty.
The telling point on all the refs **** ups was Cahill (who on sky called himself a dyed in the wool blue) stating he thought that Son should have had a pen and not been sent off and you should have had a penalty for the hand ball while the Richarlison one was possibly a penalty... my view is that the decisions showed how ****ed VAR is.

As for the penalties at the other end, the handball was handball, it was clear. The Richarlison one looked a foul to me, and certainly much more clear cut than Sons dive, yet the Manc VAR ref barely looked at it, compared to spending minutes trying his best to give the Son one.
The sooner that ****ing idiot Riley is binned off the better. As all of those incidents should have seen the VAR official advising Atkinson to go and view the monitor himself, as they couldn’t decide and it wasn’t clear and obvious. At least then, the on field ref is making the call, but for some reason that tit Riley has told them not to use the monitors.
Also, the offside VAR should be naked eye only. If you can’t see if a player is off or not on a slow mo replay, without drawing ****ing lines on a screen then he’s not gaining a ****ing advantage, which is entire point of the rule.
consistency from fans is rare!! it's always the same arseholes one week saying it was a nailed on pen that a few months down the line argue the opposite when it's the opposing team against them. I will wait !
Ok...guess your non biased post wins out![]()
Do you include yourself in that?
Looks I might be going to our match at your place in a few weeks. Was dead easy to get a home end ticket.
The problem is if you don't go down you won't get it.no mate I hate diving we have one in almiron he loves to go down... this bollocks about contact irritates me because the word contact and the word foul are not the same.. I hate players that realise the best chance they have of scoring is to go down and try and get a pen.
boycott still going on lowest crowds I can remember considering we still got 50 k 2 years in the championship I think as low as 40 k , but when you think about it 40k is still more than most of the league … i'll be back when Ashley sells even if it's to venkys its a principal thing now .. I don't want to be like a wife that keeps leaving their violent husband and then coming back next week when she realises he doesn't even care .
This is fact. The problem is if you don't go down you won't get it.
