Football is **** to go to with VAR imho...it ****ing kills goal celebrations...which is kinda the whole ****ing point.

The hand ball rule is **** so that ain't VARs fault but ever ****ing gosl is checked so you celebrate for a second or 2 then have to stop...might be ok for tv but it's bollocks if you pay to go live, sit through 86 mins of dross and then can't even celebrate a very late equaliser properly as was the csse on Saturday... and the idea that VAR is going to ensure the right decision is bollocks...we've got away with 2 stone cold penalties and have been denied 3...and I am sure every fan of every club could say the same... it's just bollocks.

It's bollocks and it's killing the atmosphere at games imo. Like you say, when a goal is scored you now have to wait for some nerd 100 miles away to decide whether you can celebrate or not.

That is bad enough in itself, but VAR simply doesn't correct the problems it sets out to fix. It just adds another layer of subjectivity to the decision making. So you might as well just leave it to the on field ref and accept that the human decision making process is always going to be subjective.

That's basically what you said bru.

That cliche always suggests that it’s some kind of unwritten rule that the Football Gods will balance things out

I didn’t say that I said teams are hiding their own frailties behind bad VAR decisions. That’s why I said regardless of these bad decisions teams will finish more or less where you’d expect them to. Point being the quality of the team is what shines through so this uproar about VAR every weekend is a bit of a diversion if you ask me.

Example

Haven’t heard boo about VAR from Klopp...why would you...8 out of 8. On Sunday they dropped points and as a result I watched most of the 2nd half in shades due to Klopp’s teeth making an appearance for the first time this season.

This is the bit I don't think I'll ever be able to get past.

A lot of people forget as well that for some clubs you could go weeks without seeing your team score a goal, and that goal could release a months worth of tension and frustrations.

But no, now we have to wait 2 minutes while some **** sat indoors in a referee kit checks if they're a few cm offside. Cos obviously everyone was really upset about those going against them in the past.

He went mental because VAR didn't rule out Utd's goal for the foul on their player in the build up.

I can only speak for myself, but you know we'll enough that my feelings on var are far bigger than whether Saints win or not bru.

We've provably had more decisions by it help us than any other club. That almost makes me hate it more tbh <laugh>

It wasn’t a foul

It was a bit of contact whilst tussling for the ball.

...but with the naked eye he(Origi) would have convinced(cheated) the ref into thinking he had been Poll axed due to the diving and rolling about accompanied by sound affects

VAR did it’s job by exposing the diving pussy ****

Everything you mention also existed BEFORE VAR ....

The technology is there to get the right decision according to the rules ... and the technology does not lie. Unfortunately, the initiative is being implemented by incompetent fools ... in fairness the FA was already that before VAR ...

Personally I have not witnessed fans not celebrating a goal, just in case it's ruled out by VAR, as some seem to suggest ... indeed there is an argument that it actually increases the drama / tension.

Bottom line is that if it gets the right result then, for me, that's the best outcome ... the rules and implementation need addressing otherwise VAR is always going to get blamed for some teams being just a bit crap ...<cheers>

[HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] bring up the fact that Ozil has missed 101 games for Arsenal but Pogba has probably missed as many for Man Utd. Pogba especially loves skipping games against top 6 opponents - has he even played 5 in his entire career?

You must respect said diving pussy **** for completing the demolition of your lot in the final.
