Fergie's United didn't score many goals like that. Arsenal did. To be honest, I don't recall Liverpool doing that very often either. It just wasn't the English way back then. I can remember the press going mental because the Holland 88 team scored a passing goal against England. I think there were something like 22 passes in the move which wouldn't be considered epic nowadays.
I mean quick passing and slick finishing. Granted it's more common these days but the top teams have been scoring like that for years.
I guess the point is we're now seeing smaller clubs doing it so that's good. I'm just not really feeling the praise Pep mentality that a lot of people have. Wenger has had more of an influence in England but people rarely mention that because he left the PL with his tail between his legs.
