I think it’s cruel for BBC Sport to build up the hopes of Liverpool fans like this. You keep doing it and you know they take the bait, and then get very upset when it doesn’t happen, like last season when they won the league in December. There will be lots of users on here talking about their “year of seven” by midday.

Wound up our pre-season with a 2-1 win over Champions League bound Atalanta. Vardy and Perez scoring the goals and looking like they could form a formidable striking partnership. Caglar Soyuncu stepped in for Harry Maguire and according to reports played very well - Atalanta's goal came from a late penalty after we'd had a third, a Fuchs screamer, ruled out for offside ... all shaping nicely for the opener against Wolves.<cheers>
