In fairness comm...we spent **** all ... had our worst away run in 15 years, only played 4 league games at whl, only got 12 points from our ladt 12 matches but still finished 45 places above you lot

With the figures available it looks to me that the Man City first team today cost £375m and the Liverpool first team today cost £320m and yet all I could see on the Liverpool board was claims of moral victory as City "bought the title". Apparently £320m is fair enough but £375m is cheating.
When we, Newcastle, played Liverpool earlier in the season our entire starting line up cost less than Mo Salah - and he was only their third most expensive player on the pitch. That was also fair enough though. I feel today may not be the day to highlight this on their board but I do find it interesting when deciphering their discontent.
