Be interesting to see what this means for Hazard. Dare even Chelsea force him to stay for the last year of his contract and lose a huge fee from Real Madrid. On the other hand, not replacing him could see them very short handed.

If it were down to me, I’d cash in on him, give the youngsters a go. Treat next season as a transition, and let the fans know that’s what I’m doing.

Come the end of the transfer ban, any of the youngsters who proved himself gets rewarded with a permanent promotion to the main squad, the rest get sold.

And with the savings from the season before, I’d look at bringing in some more young stars from across Europe’s elite.

If Sarri plays this right, he could become a club legend. My worry is, that the bloke is far too stupid to work any of this out.
 
It's why they signed Pulisic. Someone at the club saw that coming and needed to get a replacement for Hazard.

What are the details of the ban? Why exactly is it in place?
