Football isn't fair and that's half the fun. This scoreline is nuts given the nature of the game but the last 20 minutes has been an absolute schooling given what was happening previously. I just wasn't that impressed with Barca and felt people were giving them too much credit for Liverpool not equalising when a decent amount of it seemed to be Liverpool looking uncharacteristically toothless.

Fair play though, the end to this match has been brutal.

STFU Haslam chatting like Liverpool have peppered the Barca goal and been unlucky. They’ve just been intense, chasing balls and winning a few tackles, you’re acting as if they’re Heynckes’ Bayern who pounded on them relentlessly.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'll get plenty of mileage out of this at work as they're are a hilarious set of fans to be around when it goes badly. I'd prefer to have seen a Tottenham Liverpool final though and then Tottenham winning on penalties. That would have been a proper meltdown. I don't buy in to the Barca love in generally, I'll support any English team in Europe.
