Torres was on your books for like four years though weren't he? Albeit think there was a loan out somewhere. Might mean at least another year with Morata...

Benteke was shipped out quickly though by Pool, to a desperate Palace as well, not forgetting he'd proven himself in the Prem when at Villa so that went in his favour when Pool were selling. Tosun had a solid record in Turkey, we were also linked, so that probably made his price a bit higher.

You'll have teams interested in him but for anymore than £30m? I'd say highly unlikely.

Yea 30m aint bad which is what i was expecting. Just half our losses. Better than being detrimental to the team. Hes just not a player to help build up play and wants crosses neither which we do.

Thought it was weird when you lot bought him, especially for that money.

Costa - for as much as a **** as he was - was a world class striker. Morata's only ever been a backup, even if it was at two top sides.

Funny as **** though.

Yes but Costas heart was in Madrid and he's getting on a bit. An absolute beast of a player but hasn't he slowed down a bit of atletico as well? We definitely haven't replaced him and tbh theres serious flaws in our side. Plays way too narrow with hazard and willian as the wingers and I've been complaining about it for the best part of 4 years.

Thought it was more to do with him and Conte falling out ?

Don't really watch La Liga so not sure.

Speaking of Hazard, what do you reckon will happen with him? Madrid bound or signing a new deal like Kante? Madrid's form has been ****e this season, could force their hand to make a big money move. They've been linked with Eriksen as well, be gutted if he were to join them, would hate to see him leave but I'd rather he went Barca, more suited to their style.

Yes Conte the Muppet sent him a text but he'd been angling for a move. He was dropped in January transfer window of our title winning season because he was making power plays and pretending to move to china

You only had to see how he stayed in Brazil and didn't turn up just to go to Madrid lol

Dunno. I reckon he might stay. Might not fancy getting kicked enough in England and it's his dream.

However we are dominating possession and he seems to be enjoying that aspect. He's also improving under sarri and i quite like how he's finally taking shots on.

The ultimate real Madrid deal breaker will be if Conte goes there which isn't beyond the realms of possibility
