I remember us losing at home to Liverpool, then getting battered 3-0 by Arsenal on our third and fourth games of the season back in 2016-17.
Everyone wrote us off after those back to back defeats, and then we went on like a 19 game streak without losing and romped the title.

@Spurlock Bodi is predicting United to win the title and I’m accepting his bet.

I’ve got a cracking avatar waiting for him!

Cheers, Bruv.

That is what I thought, was it the wrong time to go out and play the aggressor? He could have frustrated you and got a result. I suppose you have to say it could have been a different game if they had got a goal but for all the huff and puff they didn't exactly carve you up in the first half.

Tactically he should have shut shop and then gone to Burnley looking to get all 3 points.
I called that, I told my yid mate here they would win because Maureen is in between a Brighton rock and hard place and I said they will come out on the front foot as opposed to the NCP formation.

That is a problem, but Bluey is right our squad is thin. One or two key injuries and we’ve got serious problems.

We don’t pay enough to tempt half decent players to wait their turn on a bench.
You say that, but we have Lamela, Son, Wanyama, Sanchez, Winks, Davies, Vorm not in tonight's first 11. Anyone of whom would do a decent job if called on.

It’s the key players. If Kane or Eriksen suffers a bad one, there’s nobody. And they’re the team’s heartbeat

tbh, it's the same with most clubs except maybe City.

Saying that though, only Son, Wanyana, Wanyama, Sanchez, Vorm (but who needs a backup keeper) are decent depth.

Lamela is average and same with winksy

Can’t agree.

Most of our rivals have a decent back up striker. We have Llorente who looks like he’s just topping his pension up.

Eriksen is the only out and out creative midfielder we have.
