He's not just a goal scorer though, he's a winger that plays for the team. He won't be 40 goal a season man, but his assists should stay similar.

Check this **** with still a few games to go...

PL:
33 games
31 goals
9 assists

Total:
47 games
43 goals
13 assists

Devastating player...this year

Personally, I think Salah will prove to be durable, just as Suarez did.

That is why I cannot see him staying at 'Pool. The lad is going to be the hottest player in the World, come the Summer.

It takes a lot of heat off the likes of Kane, Alli, and Eriksen. For that, I am thankful.

lol no i haven't licked his arse.

In fact whenever a new kid on the block comes on and has a couple of good games and everyone starts rimming them, i'm always of the pipe down nature.

He's got everything going for him though and he has played well (he didn't have sane in his pocket lol) but i don't understand why people get all overhyped when:

1. a player goes through a run of good form
2. when a young player has 1 or 2 good games and not only that (obviously TAA has had a few more), but young players are judged on a lower barometer to get this world class status just because they are younger.

Anyway, just 1 month ago he was getting slated by a lot of your fans for letting Rashford merk him and when Zaha showed him a clean set of heels

That's 2 games that he wasn't at his best, he's young and learning. Every other game he's played extremely well and was a lot of peoples MOTM over the 2 legs against City.

He did have Sane in his pocket, they tried targeting that side but failed miserably.

I'd take him to the world cup. He won't go as he's so young, but he'll be England's RB soon for years to come. You can bookmark that.

Us Spurs lads have always used the Spurs board for serious footy discussion, and this board for banter, Pix.

Whilst we haven't expressly discussed it among ourselves, I think there is a tacit understanding between all the Spurs lads that there is absolutely no point in trying to talking proper footy on this board, given the 'Pede's tendency to reduce everything to homosexual fantasies and frivolity.

everyones been talking proper footie - just not with you.

I see DH has been having some proper convos here that doesn't involve everyone getting all defensive should anyone mention spurs in a bad light

The side is set up perfectly for him, he won't stop scoring until the balance is upset or he leaves for a club where they don't play to his strengths.

It'll be frightening when we replace Can with Keita. You worried Tel? just a tad?

But on a serious, Klopp and Salah are literally the perfect fit. Not sure he'd do the same for other teams styles.

numbers being better don't mean a thing. It's what the teams the individual player plays in wins else Harry most goals in a calendar year Kane would have won it

True.
It all rests on the CL as to who wins the Ballon D'or.

If BM or Roma win it they'll just give it to Messi as it's his turn.

That's harsh, Bobby!

You'll always find me ready to talk serious footy. However, when I am confronted with the usual dribbling morons that hound my every step, it's rather difficult.

I, of course, manage to blend serious game commentary with a rakish and waspish cut of the tongue, that is at once both stunningly original and overtly genius. It is all part of my charm, mate.

So in a nutshell, you all went into hiding because you couldn’t handle the Bantz. Got it <ok>

This <ok>

DH and Geralico were able to do ‘proper footie’ talk without getting all weepy.

As for the rest, as HIAG has just admitted, they retreated to their cave.

Not quite, mate.

There is bantz, and then there is bantz.

The bantz of dribbling morons is not something that us Spurs lads tend to like. Sure, there will always be an undercurrent of it, on a board such as this, but when it bubbles over us Spurs lads like to retreat to a place that is more genial to decent, hard-hitting footy convo.

You, by contrast, seem to thrive in an atmosphere of outright moronic tomfoolery. You cheer-lead a lot of it.

You bottled it and retreated to the Spud cave. No need to write an essay about it mate. :)

since we are having a proper convo - i will give you the respect it deserves.

He's turning into a good player and he's learning as he is young. That doesn't mean i should elevate him to the heights of the elite RBs like walker and carvahal etc.

He hasn't played every game extremely well. Here's the games he's played and the ones i remember:

granted, if goals are conceded down that side it's not always going to be his fault but here we are:

out of these games i know he was definitely made mince meat in the palace and united games. I think he was at fault in the watford game and the less said about the city game the better.

I remember he did okay at spurs.

Obviously these do not include the CL matches where he's played well (not motm in my book, Milner has been terrific in the CL games alongside Salah).

He's showing himself to be a decent player but i wouldn't get ahead of myself yet as young players can fall off a cliff and not maintain it.

They never talk proper footy..they pretend to start off like its a normal chat then their deep underlying obsessions take over. I've already had to sabotage the 'which is tougher, PL or CL' thread because they just keep on de railing everything with their obsessions

This is funny, Spurlock trying to defend HIAG for his ‘proper footie talk’ whilst crying that everybody else rips the piss. <rofl>
