I think that will be the toughest game of the season so far for City. Spurs are quite easily the 2nd best side in the PL for me.
And to be fair if there is any side who are good enough to go toe to toe with City it is them especially at home.
I suspect they will have the PL done
and dusted by then. Whether Pep has
them playing for CL starts or just
professional pride then remains to be seen.
City are on another level at the minute, pure class and a pleasure to watch.

Yes he has money to burn on a squad but to get a team playing like that takes some doing. Not sure we've ever seen a better team on these shores, and that's credit to Peps coaching ability. Man is next level.

In the battle of the Manc messiahs, Pep has spent that
considerable money on getting his squad playing in
the manner they are. Jose OTOH has fallen short.
But tis hardly the level of what Fergie did in 2012-13, is it.
Teams have to be judged on the trophies they win, and that's why our side in 99 is still out on its own as the greatest side in English football history.

They are definately a much better side than we had in 12/13. How Fergie won the title with that group of players il never know.
Pep is a great manager, no question about that. He is the best manager at the moment at getting the best out of world class players. But could he do what Fergie had to do at times and win titles, when he doesn't have as strong a squad as other teams in the division?
His philosophy of only playing one way would come unstuck if he had to manage lesser players IMO. Where as Fergie would adapt his tactics to play to the strengths of the players he had.

He has the luxury of money to burn in order to practice his philosophy. I think there's a lot of managers that play the beautiful game..yet get scuppered by weaknesses in the team due to a lack of quality in the squad resulting from a cap on their spending. So I won't think this guy is the messiah..imagine your gaffer with an extra 200 mill to spend or Poch or Conte..so yeah he deserves praise but he didn't invent sliced bread

People knock Guardiola because some of his statements are pretty arrogant and he's only done it at big clubs with loads of money.

He's taken over clubs that are already at the top, outspent everyone else and then won trophies, while being treated like the messiah.
He's playing on Easy. He's still doing very well, don't get me wrong, but he bloody should be.
On top of all that, he keeps jumping ship after a few years, so he's not building a legacy anywhere.

I was busy last night, and I've only just had a chance to review the highlights of the Arsenal v City game.
None of us, not even Gooners, really expected Arsenal to get anything out of that match. However, what was painfully obvious to see is that Arsenal are so far off top 4 pace that it is actually embarrassing. They actually look like us from about 7 seasons ago, struggling to make the Europa, and that is bad!
Wenger has become toxic for Arsenal, just as I predicted he would. They cannot begin the tough task of rebuilding until he's gone.
Surely, he must see that? Obviously, he doesn't.
He is no longer doing what's best for the club; he's only what's best for him.
Two seasons outside the top 4 will surely give the board enough courage to sack the old fossil?

Can't fault the way Pep plays the game, it's incredible to watch but he's always been gifted the resources to implement that perfect style, whether that's inheriting an already excellent bunch of players or being given finances equating to a country's economy. It's still commendable with the way he does choose to play football, especially when you consider Jose who has been afforded similar resources, has opted to play a style of football that's basically just a glorified Tony Pulis Stoke City side which has bored and bullied it's way to success.
