Thats an easy draw for Arsenal.

They might be a big name, but they are ****e these days.

They have struggled, but since Gattuso took over they are on a revival, unbeaten in their last 10 games. If we can score at the San Siro then we have a chance, but we could turn up and get raped 5-0, given our current form.

He might well be a better finisher than those 3, but I'm not saying to play any of them as strikers. Vardy is not an attacking midfielder or a winger, he's a striker.

If this was the 80s or the 90s and everyone was playing 442 then I'd completely agree with you, but 442 especially with the midfield England have does not cut it in modern day football.

Vardys record against the big sides is impressive, but that has a lot to do with the counter attacking play style Leicester use against those sides. Vardy because he is so fast is a specialist on the counter attack. But he does often struggle to score against sides who don't give him space in behind to run into.

Looking at our group, the only side that we will probably set up to counter attack against will be Belgium, and perhaps you could play Vardy up top with Kane playing as a 2nd striker/Attacking midfielder. But I wouldn't be playing Vardy against either Panama or Tunisia, as I think the all round qualities of Kane up top gives you a lot more options than Vardy does.

He holds the all time record for consecutive games goals scored in the EPL ... and he scores all types of goals ... not just on the counter attack ... as his England record already attests ... he's been prolific at every level he's played at ... you can't ask for much more from a striker ...

... and you have Rashford in your side ... is he a winger or an attacking midfielder?

Agreed.

I was thinking of possible having his heart and lungs removed wi

I’d d

I’d disagree. They might not be what they were a few years back, but they’ll still present a formidable challenge.

Easy. It won’t be.

Not sure who or what you were going to dismember in the first part of your comment, but I agree that AC Milan won't be easy. They are also looking pretty good again now that Gattuso is in charge, they are 10 games unbeaten at the moment.

I was in the middle of replying to Sky about Joe Hart when the phone went. It should have erased, but it didn’t

You don't need to sell Vardy to me, I know how good he is. But unless we play with 2 strikers I don't see a place in the starting 11 for him. As he ain't better than Kane.

2 strikers I just don't see as a good option, as our midfield isn't good enough to cope if they are outnumbered.

I would play Rashford on the left, Sterling on the right and Lingard as central attacking midfielder.

Unless you play Vardy on the wing, but I don't think he has the versatility of Rashford to play on the left, and Sterling is a natural right winger.

Nigel Pearson played Vardy wide left during our 'great escape' ... he was effective but nowhere near as good as playing through the centre ... although he is capable of doing this from there ...

I suppose it is Arsenal we are talking about here, and not having Aubamayang and Lacazette is a worry. But I do think your a lot stronger than them.

keep dreaming.

TAA won't be a right back. Not good enough defensively. Think Gomez should stay as a RB. Don't think he can read the flight of a ball as a CB. He can get away with it as a RB

Bobby ask any Liverpool fan about TAA the kid is special. Keep watching MOTD and making stupid claims mate <ok>

I'd be tempted to put Nketiah in there up front. The kid is young and fearless. Welbeck did **** all in the CF role, but to be fair to him he's more of a wide player really.
